About Dr. Megan Vidales

Dr. Megan was born and raised in Garland, Texas. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Texas Tech University, her Doctor of Chiropractic from Parker University, and also completed a minor in Psychology and a Master's in Neuroscience. Most recently she has completed the training through The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). With her credentials and her husband's — also a chiropractor — they were already living a health-conscious, holistic lifestyle. Even so, symptoms and ailments still affected them every day. A healthy life was not enough on its own. They still needed functional medicine support to get well.

She and her husband spent a year under chiropractic care and trying natural remedies for his GI issues and for her anxiety, panic, and hormone imbalances. He was still bloated, uncomfortable, and held back from the gym and from social plans. The active life he wanted kept slipping out of reach. Dr. Wards treated them both for leaky gut and parasites, and worked with Dr. Megan on her hormones as well. One exciting side effect of balanced hormones: she became pregnant shortly after that work!

What shifted for her husband was simple and huge. He could be active again, back in the gym and caring for his patients at full capacity. The gut repair program changed their lives. Enough so, it fueled Dr. Megan's passion to become a functional medicine practitioner.

She stopped settling for isolated symptom relief and started hunting root causes, so people can heal from the inside out and stay well. What she wants every patient to feel is this: You know your body best. Your symptoms are real and valid, and you deserve for someone to listen and help you find a solution.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Megan strength trains, gets outdoors, plays soccer, and spends time with her family, including her new baby boy. Her passion is simple and fierce: helping people feel heard, find the real cause, and get their lives back.
