What To Do When Your Doctor

Gives Up On You

The 7 Secrets that Find the Problem, Boost Energy & Bring You Back to Health

Austin, TX – February 2020 — Dr. Tenesha Wards, D.C., A.C.N., founder of Austin’s Infinity Wellness Center, is pleased to announce the launch of her new book, What to do When Your Doctor Gives up on You: 7 Secrets that Find the Problem, Boost Energy & Bring You Back to Health.

The book is intended to guide those who’ve had trouble finding answers to their chronic pain, constant fatigue and other mystery medical issues through a conventional medicine approach toward solutions that may lie in holistic and integrative treatments. Inspiration for sharing her knowledge in this book not only comes after many years of successfully treating hard-to-diagnose patients in her Austin clinic, but also from her own personal health struggles with Lyme Disease, Autoimmunity and Epstein Barr Virus.

“I know personally how infuriating it is to be told that because your lab tests are ‘normal’ that nothing is really wrong with you,” says, Dr. Wards. “It’s also frustrating to be prescribed medications or invasive surgical procedures without knowing the cause of the problem.”

Her mission to treat the whole patient instead of only addressing symptoms, and to restore patient health by facilitating the body’s own healing ability, is fueled by an empathy that comes from shared experience. After receiving debilitating diagnoses at different times in their lives, she and her father, who had MS, were both returned to wellness after seeking holistic health treatments when conventional protocols failed. Proof of the effectiveness of functional medical care ignited her passion to practice herself.

In her information-filled primer for patients with unexplained chronic conditions, Dr. Wards uses seven strategically-ordered chapters to outline a step-by-step approach to holistically diagnosing and treating complex ailments like chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, insomnia, and gastrointestinal Issues, among others.

“The people who will benefit most from my book are those who have gone a traditional medical route only to be offered drugs or surgery, but mostly drugs, to mask symptoms,” said Dr. Wards. “Tired of the runaround, they’re ready for real answers with real solutions to get and stay well.”

While formerly referred to as “alternative medicine,” holistic health therapies have leaked into the mainstream, gaining acceptance as a growing number of patients find relief from chronic pain and illness with holistic treatments.

Dr. Wards received her graduate degree from Texas Chiropractic College. She also holds certifications in Acupuncture, Applied Kinesiology, Activator Technique and is an Applied Clinical Nutritionist who regularly hosts study groups for doctors about the use of food as medicine. A popular public speaker, Dr. Wards routinely presents on a variety of topics related to holistic health and functional nutrition at conventions, as well as for women’s, civic and professional groups. In addition, she regularly appears on the PsycheTruth Wellness Plus podcast and has authored several e-books. This is her first bound publication.
